Northbound: PARS and ACI eManifestYour Canadian customs broker submits a PARS release request. The carrier sends cargo and conveyance data to CBSA, received at least 1 hour before arrival.
Southbound: PAPS and ACE eManifestFor loads into the U.S., the carrier sends an ACE eManifest to CBP at least 1 hour before arrival (30 minutes for FAST). A PAPS number ties it to the broker entry.
Matching numbersThe cargo control number on the PARS release must match the carrier eManifest exactly, or release can be delayed.
