A dray truck pulls the container from the terminal, a transload yard moves the freight onto a flatbed or van, and that truck delivers it to your door.
Most import freight heads north on the 710 or the 110 to yards around Commerce, Vernon and the Los Angeles basin. Oversize cargo that will not fit a container, like machinery on flat racks, goes straight to an open deck trailer.
